  5. Suprised that no one’s left this almbum a review yet, so here goes…
All the songs on this album pretty much define originality and bring a little something new to the table. Great vocals, great solos, catchy lyrics.. some of the songs would get stuck in your head when you’d play them over once or twice. Great potential, and sounds like it could only get better.. To me the songs that stand out the most have got to be Pretend to be, Guardian of the gates, I Remember, Never Change, Show me something real, light the fuse and read between the lines. So I pretty much listed every song on there.. thats definitely got to mean something. I feel like this is talent that should be recognized, therefore I would strongly recommend buying this album :)

  6. First and foremost, Jehangir, I would like to Congratulate you! :) Usually, when listening to an album, there is usually something monotonous or repetitive, the next album is even more so. With Jehangir’s album, there is element as well as versatility. It is best to progress through the album according to the song list. “Frozen Waters” and “Bringing me Down” will certainly give the metal lover what he/she is looking for. “Pretend to Be” is a personal favourite, I believe it brings to the fore just how alluring Jehangir’s voice can be! “Guardians of the Gate” initially builds on the voice I speak of and goes on to an amazing solo (please forward to 2 Mins and 57 secs). The next three tracks have versatility written all over them, something for everyone! This brings us to the title track which must be heard 3 times over once you’ve heard the entire album, it is that good! “Pouring on Memory Lane” should make you smile! It did that for me, it just lets everything down easy – meaning what you’ve been listening to. Perfect place, perfect song. Coming to the last track, “See you soon” will give you a taste of the VERY broad, or should i say endless, Continuum of Jehangir’s guitar skills. Six years on, I am still a devout fan! Brilliant album! I hope you will enjoy listening to it over and over again as I have. Happy listening! :D (and no this review is not biased, he really is that good!)

  7. “Pretend to be” can certainly be the number 1 on Charts. Jehangir has Talent. 3 doors down and John Mayer are you ready to hear “Show Me Something Real”……? Rock on Jehangir. I am certainly impressed and love the whole album! Awesome songs!

  8. Wow! I didnt know Pakistan could come up with such great talent! i cannot stop listening to “pretend to be.” awesome awesome songs!!

  9. I initially only downloaded one song, (show me something real) i was a little skeptical at first because i had never heard of Pakistan. When i heard it i couldn’t stop listening to the song, very impressive work. It wasn’t long before i had the whole album on my iTouch. The album caters to rock lovers of all kinds, from soft rock (Pretend to be) to hard core, in your face aggressive metal (penny eyes), and even industrial rock (see you soon). This guy/band will go far. Hope to listen to more of your stuff Mr. Jehangir. Kudos.
